Job summary

Kyndryl is seeking a Systems Programmer to shape the foundation of our operating systems. You will develop, test, and maintain software that controls the OS, hardware, and system software, while solving complex problems and ensuring security across our systems.

You will provide mainframe platform programming and product support, guide technological objectives, and lead RCA discussions. The role may involve managing departments at national or international levels, with a focus on delivering

Qualifications

12+ years of experience in z/OS operating system installation, maintenance, con-figuration, and support.
Experience with zOS subsystems (JES2 experience is required, SMS, RACF/ACF2), IBM program products, standard mainframe ISV/OEM software products (BMC, Broadcom/CA, others).
Excels in problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

Develop, test, and maintain the software that controls a computer's operating system, hardware, and other systems software.
Ensure the security of computer systems and design and implement cutting-edge technology.
Provide mainframe OS platform programming and program product support for applications.
Conduct RCA discussions for the products you work on and provide ongoing technical and operational guidance to lead professional work teams.
Possibly manage departments on a national or international level and define objectives while managing resources.
