Job summary

Hedra is seeking a Senior Video Producer to own our video engine end-to-end, with YouTube as a primary growth channel for developers, prosumers, and enterprise. You will shoot, cut, write or brief scripts, and manage a freelance bench while coordinating with marketing and product teams.

You'll oversee thumbnails, metadata, and weekly metrics, turning long-form content into social cuts. The team is SF-based and operates in-person, with a focus on delivering high-impact tutorials and narratives.

Qualifications

• 4+ years producing video for a tech or SaaS brand.
• Experience hiring and managing freelance editors and motion designers.
• Able to script and shoot scrappy solo content when needed.
• Understand YouTube as a search and conversion channel.
• Enough technical fluency to follow a product demo and know what an API is.

Responsibilities

• Work with product, engineering, and marketing to learn the product and users.
• Own the video content calendar aligned to marketing launches and themes.
• Produce long-form YouTube content: tutorials, deep-dives, product narratives.
• Source, contract, and manage freelance editors and designers; keep options ready.
• Write scripts or brief them, coordinating with marketing on messaging.
• Turn long-form pieces into short cuts for social and paid media; edit most themselves.
• Manage agency relationships with briefs, SOWs, and asset delivery.
• Own YouTube channel operations: thumbnails, titles, metadata, and reporting.
• Keep raw footage and project files organized in company systems.
