Job summary

Movement Rockville is seeking a skilled Yoga Instructor to teach all-levels classes, read the room, and adapt on the fly to student needs. You will provide world-class instruction focused on building strength, flexibility, mobility, and stability, with mindful cueing and breath work to support a safe, educational, and professional experience.

Starting pay is $48-$58 per hour, with potential flexibility based on experience. Applications accepted through September 30, 2026.

Qualifications

200 hour YTT required; 500 hour and/or additional certifications preferred.
3.5 years experience teaching; 500+ hours teaching experience preferred.
Ability to gain a dedicated following and consistent attendance at peak and non-peak times.
Has confident, authentic, and memorable teaching voice and can adapt classes on the fly based on a range of needs from students.

Responsibilities

Teach all-level yoga classes with safety and professionalism.
Improve strength, flexibility, mobility, and stability.
Deliver safe, educational class with concise cueing.
Incorporate breath work and mindfulness during sessions.
Accommodate varying fitness levels with modifications.
Create a clean, organized, and welcoming practice space.
Support availability to teach at Movement Rockville and sub throughout the week.
