Job summary

Google is seeking a Product Manager to guide XR media creation and viewing apps from conception to launch, translating user behavior into engaging experiences. You will break down complex problems and connect technical and business worlds while collaborating with engineers, designers, and marketers to deliver user-centered XR solutions.

In this role, you will help shape camera and Photos experiences, influencing how users capture memories and interact with media in an AI-powered XR future.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
• 3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Lead the definition and delivery of media creation and viewing apps, translating user behaviors into engaging XR experiences.
• Apply a passion for photography and videography to push the boundaries of how users capture and relive memories in XR.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to understand device capabilities and maximize the user experience of our media apps.
• Understand user point-of-view content capture and interaction needs and behaviors, translating insights into engaging and effective XR experiences.
• Drive a rigorous quality-first culture, ensuring that the camera and Photos app are performant, stable and battery efficient.
