Job summary

JLR North America, LLC is seeking a Senior XIL Development Engineer to design, implement and maintain XIL test environments for validating Assisted & Automated Driving features. You will deliver real-time simulation solutions and collaborate across engineering teams to ensure robust, compliant validation.

The role requires expertise in MIL/SIL/HIL, MATLAB/Simulink, AUTOSAR, ISO 26262 and vehicle network diagnostics, with a focus on safety and continuous improvement in AAD testing capabilities.

Qualifications

Experience designing XIL test environments (MIL, SIL, HIL) for automotive or related tech.
Strong model-based development skills with MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow.
Familiarity with HIL platforms, diagnostics, AUTOSAR, and virtual vehicle sims.

Responsibilities

Design and develop XIL test environments (MIL, SIL, HIL) and real-time models for AAD feature validation.
Deliver scalable virtual validation solutions aligned with architecture and industry standards.
Collaborate with Test Platform, System Test, Modelling & Simulation teams for integration.
