Job summary

Temple University Health System, Inc. is seeking a full-time Senior X-Ray Technologist to work with Temple Faculty Physicians. The successful candidate will be proficient in multiple radiologic modalities and must have 3 years of relevant experience.

Education requirements include a High School Diploma and graduation from an AMA-approved radiologic technology program. Candidates must also hold a Reg Technologist (R) license and Basic Life Support certification.

SENIOR X-RAY TECHNOLOGIST – FULL TIME – TEMPLE FACULTY PHYSICIANS (263232)

Proficient and practices multiple modalities within Radiology. Performs and/or assists with various types of radiologic procedures, following protocols established by the radiologists. Prepares, maintains and operates radiographic equipment in a safe and responsible manner. Follows appropriate radiation safety guidelines. Produces quality radiographs for interpretation by a radiologist. Contributes to a safe and therapeutic environment that is centered on the needs of the patients, caregivers and others demonstrating concern for the patient’s privacy, comfort, and emotional state. Treats patient with consideration to age, race, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, socioeconomic background, and culture in a caring, ethical, and professional manner.

Education

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
• Non Degree Program Graduate from a two‑year AMA approved radiologic technology program Required
