Job summary

ED Wallach Search Group in Sarasota, FL seeks an experienced X-Midas software developer with 7+ years of hands-on development to join our employee owned team and advance the X-Midas baseline used across the Intelligence Community.

The ideal candidate will design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, work with a small cross-site engineering team, and mentor junior developers while delivering mission-critical software. TS clearance required.

Qualifications

• Active TS clearance required; TS/SCI preferred.
• 7+ years of hands-on X-Midas application development.
• BS or MS in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong C++ and Python development experience.
• Experience deploying production software systems.
• Experience validating X-Midas modules against design specs.
• Proficient with Linux/Unix (Rocky, RHEL, or similar).
• Git version control experience.
• Agile methodologies and collaborative cross-functional teamwork.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Sustainment, feature development, and modernization of the X-Midas baseline.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for reliable delivery.
• Improve system performance and stability with minimal disruption.
• Collaborate with engineers across sites to guide technical direction and mentor juniors.
