We are seeking an experienced Certified Wound Care Nurse to join our team at UMMC Midtown Campus in Baltimore. This full-time day position offers a $20,000 sign-on bonus and the opportunity to lead clinical practice, quality improvement, and unit operations within a supportive community hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide independent wound, ostomy, and continence care, serving as a clinical resource and integrating evidence-based practices.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives and performance improvement projects to enhance patient safety and care quality.
• Mentor and coach nursing staff, oversee unit operations, and participate in governance and professional development activities.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and participate in patient safety initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Maryland RN licensure or eligibility via Compact agreement.
• BSN required as of July 1, 2013.
• WOCN certification and current CPR certification.
• Minimum 0.50 FTE, with relevant clinical experience.
