Job summary

The Crowd is seeking a workplace focused Project Designer to join its San Francisco team. The role involves hands-on involvement from concept and design development through documentation and project delivery, with an emphasis on accuracy in construction documentation and strong presentation skills.

Ideal candidates bring 6+ years of post-graduate experience in workplace/corporate interiors, Proficiency in Revit, and a solid understanding of FF&E, millwork, joinery, and interior finishes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, or related field.
• 6+ years of post-graduate professional experience.
• Strong Revit proficiency with technical and documentation capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to projects from concept through design development, documentation, and execution.
• Develop and present thoughtful design concepts to clients and stakeholder groups.
• Lead development of design deliverables, including renderings, finish plans, elevations, and material selections.
• Coordinate FF&E with vendors, dealers, and manufacturers to align with budget and schedule.
• Produce detailed interior documentation and drawing sets with emphasis on accuracy and constructability.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, consultants, and contractors to resolve design and technical challenges.
• Incorporate client feedback while maintaining design vision and code compliance.
