Job summary

Acuity is seeking a Workers' Compensation Claims Representative to investigate, evaluate, direct, and control Workers’ Compensation claims from multiple jurisdictions. You will provide superior customer service to our policyholders and agents.

Minimum 2-3 years of experience in handling Workers’ Compensation claims preferred; strong communication and research skills are essential. Exempt role with a salary of $75,000–$90,000 and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience handling Workers’ Compensation claims.
• Proficient with personal computing, typing, mobile devices.
• Understanding of WC statutes and case law.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate, direct, and control Workers’ Compensation claims from multiple jurisdictions.
• Provide superior customer service to policyholders and agents.
• Read and evaluate medical reports to determine extent of injury and treatment.
• Maintain file documentation with effective queue and calendar use.
• Conduct claim reviews independently with insureds and agents.
