Qualifications

  • Creates, formats, and analyzes financial reports for various controls and inter- and intra-departmental processes.
  • Supports subrogation by supplying indemnity payment ledgers for liens and demands.
  • Supports training efforts by updating Salary Continuation process documents.
  • Attends and/or facilitates bi-weekly and monthly inter- and intra-departmental meetings.
  • Other duties as assigned.

WORKING CONDITIONS

This position is physically comfortable; the individual has discretion about walking, standing, etc. There are no major sources of discomfort, i.e., essentially normal office environment with acceptable lighting, temperature and air conditions.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Two years of experience in workers’ compensation, Finance, or Accounting is required.
  • Workers’ Compensation, Finance, or Accounting related experience at the professional level may be substituted for the education requirement on a year-for-year basis.
  • A Texas Workers Compensation Adjuster License is required OR the ability to obtain the Texas Workers Compensation Adjuster License in the first six months of employment.
