How you'll make an impact
- Apply claims management experience to analyze claims exposure, plan the proper course of action, and resolve claims.
- Interact extensively with involved parties to ensure effective communication and resolution.
- Provide exceptional customer service to claimants, demonstrating empathy throughout the process.
- Handle claims in accordance with clients' and company's policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
- Document and communicate claim activity efficiently to support claim outcomes.
About You
Ideal candidates will have:
- 3-5 years of experience handling lost time/indemnity claims, including litigated files.
- Jurisdictional experience in IN and MI.
- Active adjusters' licenses in IN, MI, or applicable licensure.
As a key member of our team, you will:
- Investigate, evaluate, and resolve complex workers' compensation claims.
- Collaborate with clients to deliver solutions and improve claims management.
- Apply critical thinking to solve problems and prioritize tasks.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma.
- At least 5 years of related claims experience.
- Proper licensing/certification in all handled states.
- Knowledge of industry standards and practices.
- Proficiency with claims and business software.
