Qualifications

• Five (5) years of experience in a workers' compensation claims environment.
• Experience handling claims in multiple jurisdictions preferred. bilingual skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Investigates claims to determine compensability.
• Negotiates settlements within authority at earliest possible point.
• Mentors lower-level claim handlers and coordinates special projects.
• Manages outside vendors to ensure cost containment and accuracy.
• Maintains awareness of workers' compensation statutes and related regulations.
