Job summary

AF Group is seeking an advanced claim handler to investigate and determine compensability of workers' compensation claims, while mentoring junior staff. The role requires experience with high-touch, complex claims and the ability to coordinate with managers on challenging files.

You will establish reserves, facilitate return-to-work, and navigate regulatory requirements across jurisdictions, ensuring accurate, timely settlements within authority limits.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of experience in a workers' compensation claims environment.
• Experience handling claims in multiple jurisdictions preferred.
• Bilingual skills preferred.
• Certification or progress toward certification is highly preferred and encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Investigates claims and determines compensability with thorough investigation.
