Sedgwick, a global leader in claims and risk solutions, seeks a Workers' Compensation Claims Examiner with strong VT jurisdictional experience and VT licensing to adjudicate Lost-Time claims for a diverse client base. You will analyze claims to determine benefits due, communicate with claimants and clients, and leverage Sedgwick's network for professional development and growth

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
• 4+ years of claims management experience or equivalent.
• Jurisdiction knowledge: CT, MA, NH, RI, VT.
• Licensing: VT.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing and processing Workers' Compensation claims to determine exposure and resolution.
• Negotiating settlement of claims within designated authority.
• Communicating claim activity and processing with the claimant and the client.
• Reporting claims to the excess carrier and responding to directions in a timely manner.
