Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• 5–10 years of Workers’ Compensation experience preferred.
• Some legal experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and customer service skills with all levels.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; internet research experience.

Responsibilities

• Manages full cycle claim management for assigned states to resolution.
• Participates in conference calls with TPAs, providers, and offices.
• Ensures legal deadlines are met.
• Monitors file resolution plans and Reserve requests.
• Represents Amergis in depositions, mediations, and calls regarding claims.
• Provides analysis on financial aspects of claims.
• Prepares WC claim reports for management.
• Educates branches about Workers’ Compensation.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
