Qualifications

• 3–5 years of workers’ compensation claims adjusting experience.
• Experience handling indemnity and medical-only claims.
• Demonstrated knowledge of NJ/NY/CT workers’ compensation laws and filing requirements.
• Active adjuster license(s) or ability to obtain.
• Industry certifications such as AIC, CPCU, ARM, WCCP, or similar preferred.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and manage workers’ compensation claims across NJ, NY, and CT.
• Review claim documentation to determine compensability and reserves.
• Establish and adjust reserves as claims develop.
• Coordinate with employers, injured workers, medical providers, attorneys and others.
• Monitor treatment plans and return-to-work opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with statutes, regulations, and reporting requirements.
• Maintain timely, accurate claim documentation and communications.
