Sedgwick is hiring a Workers’ Compensation Claims Adjuster for the California market. The role involves analyzing mid- to high-level WC claims to determine benefits, adjudicating in line with company standards, and identifying subrogation opportunities.

You will negotiate settlements, document actions, and maintain client relationships. Ideal candidates have a BA/BS, 4 years of WC claims experience in California, and jurisdiction knowledge; SIP certification is required or must be obtained

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Four (4) years of California Workers Compensation claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• California jurisdiction knowledge required; SIP required or must be obtained within one year of employment.

Responsabilidades

• Analyses mid- to high-level workers' compensation claims to determine benefits due.
• Adjudicates claims per company standards and industry best practices.
• Identify subrogation opportunities and negotiate settlements.
• Communicates claim actions with claimants and clients.
• Maintains proper documentation and coding of claims.
