Job summary

Northwest Bank is seeking a senior Lead Software Engineer to provide technical leadership for enterprise software applications and architecture. You will partner with business, architecture, security, and product teams to deliver scalable, secure technology solutions aligned with enterprise objectives.

Responsibilities include designing and delivering APIs, databases, and user-facing apps, mentoring engineers, and leading architecture discussions across teams.

Qualifications

• Requires 12–15 years in application support, development, or related roles with Microsoft tech stack or equivalent
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree as listed, with programming concentration
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and delivering complex web applications

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and services.
• Lead architecture discussions and ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
• Mentor engineers and drive technical excellence across projects.
• Develop APIs, integrations, databases, and user-facing applications.
• Promote secure coding practices and DevSecOps across teams.
• Coordinate engineering activities across multiple teams for large-scale initiatives.
• Drive architecture decisions and ensure solution scalability and maintainability.
• Provide technical direction and participate in code reviews and design sessions.
