Job summary

Alpha Alternatives, part of Alpha Group, seeks a Senior Consultant to build, test, deploy, and support Workday integrations, custom reports, and data transformations based on approved designs. This hands-on delivery role spans integration development, testing, troubleshooting, and data conversion support.

The position is US-based and largely remote, with travel as needed; 3–5 years of Workday development experience and proficiency with EIB, Core Connectors, Workday Studio, and Workday Web

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of technical Workday development experience.
• Hands‑on experience with EIB, Core Connectors, Workday Studio, Workday Web Services, XML, XSLT, and API mechanics.
• Strong understanding of integration testing, troubleshooting, error handling, and data validation.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications and independently execute assigned development tasks.

Responsibilities

• Integration development, testing, troubleshooting, and data conversion support.
• Participate in discovery and technical design sessions; document interface requirements and mappings.
• Develop and maintain XML/XSLT transformations and data loading logic.
• Conduct unit and integration testing; troubleshoot failures and support remediation.
• Build and support Workday reports and calculations for integrations and reporting.
• Maintain technical specs, mappings, and deployment steps; assist with cutover.
• Collaborate with leads, functional teams, client tech resources, and vendors to resolve integration dependencies.
