Digital Solutions specializes in business and cloud consulting and is dedicated to transforming our clients' businesses. We leverage expertise in big data, cloud computing, and enterprise services to provide full-lifecycle solutions. Our Workday practice consists of specialists with deep expertise in Human Capital Management, Payroll, Finance, process improvement, data conversion, and cloud software integrations.

We are seeking talented individuals to join our Digital Solutions practice at Mercer. This remote role may be based anywhere in the United States:

Senior Workday Certified Financials Consultant

What can you expect?

  • You will oversee the complete implementation lifecycle of Workday Financials modules, supporting clients through the entire process and ensuring project deliverables are met within timelines and budgets.
  • You will help clients leverage Workday technology to enhance Finance, Human Resources, and talent management, optimizing financial capabilities.

We will count on you to:

  • Lead Workday Financials design sessions, gather requirements, and document decisions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and analyze business requirements, align Workday solutions, and configure Workday modules to meet client needs.
  • Provide best practices and recommendations based on industry standards.
  • Assist with data migration from legacy systems into Workday.
  • Guide clients during testing cycles of prototypes.

What you need to have:

  • Workday Financials Certification(s) from a Workday partner (Procure to Pay, Financial Accounting, Expenses, etc.).
  • 5+ years of Workday implementation experience and 10-15 years of Financials experience.
  • Deep understanding of Workday configuration options.
  • Experience with implementation lifecycle phases and methodologies.
  • Experience designing financial reports like balance sheets and P&L statements.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills.

What makes you stand out?

  • PRISM reporting experience.
  • Leadership in Workday implementations in areas like Financial Accounting, Supply Chain, or Adaptive Planning.
  • Experience developing FDM as a lead.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred).

The salary range is $111,600 to $223,200, based on experience, skills, and other factors. The role may include performance incentives and a comprehensive rewards package.
