Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a Senior Workday Developer for a 100% remote role in the United States. You will design complex Workday reports, configure business processes, security, and Extend/PRISM analytics to empower HR, finance, and IT stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of Workday experience, deep expertise with the Workday report writer, calculated fields, and security framework, plus strong communication and collaboration skills to mentor junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IS or related field.
• 5+ years of Workday technical experience.
• Expertise with Workday report writer (advanced/composite reports).
• Strong skills in calculated fields for HCM and Finance.
• Experience configuring business processes and security.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop calculated fields, custom reports, and advanced reports.
• Build composite and matrix reports to support decisions.
• Configure business processes, rules, and approvals across HCM/Finance.
• Develop Workday Extend apps and PRISM analytics where appropriate.
• Create report-driven data interfaces and support data exports.
• Configure and manage security domains across tenants.
• Collaborate with HR, payroll, and finance to translate requirements.
• Maintain documentation for processes, fields, and security.
• Assist with tenant refreshes, testing, and release adoption.
• Troubleshoot production issues and drive sustainable fixes.
• Work with integration teams on data flows and technical design.
