Job summary

BWXT’s Work Management Section Manager position is based on-site in Erwin, Tennessee, and leads the Work Management function reporting to the VP of Operations. The role plans, directs, and controls maintenance, calibration, and capital projects, integrating all work into the Erwin plant master schedule.

Requirements include a B.S. in Engineering or Engineering Technology, with 20+ years in nuclear work and 10+ years in management.

Qualifications

• B.S. Engineering or Engineering Technology; Graduate degree preferred but not required.
• Minimum of 20 years' nuclear work experience with at least 10 years' management experience.
• Broad working knowledge of radiation protection, material control, and criticality safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior leadership and direction to assigned staff.
• Integrate and motivate personnel across functions to meet strategic objectives.
• Ensure activities comply with procedures, regulations, and union contracts.
• Review and approve departmental costs and schedules; monitor spending.
