Job summary

Edgewater Technical Associates, LLC is seeking a Work Control Planner 2 (Construction Management) in Los Alamos, NM to develop and review work packages, estimates, procedures and safety requirements for operations within a facility or area. Responsibilities include planning for mechanical, electrical, chemical, and radiological equipment, resolving restraints, and driving packages to closure.

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of related experience; DOE Q access and PPA

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of related experience or equivalent.
• Software: MWP, P-6, Asset Suite (preferred).
• PPA certification (desired).

Responsibilities

• Develop and/or review work packages with time, material, and labor estimates.
• Create written step-by-step work instructions, procedures, and safety/testing requirements.
• Coordinate planning for mechanical, electrical, chemical, and radiological equipment.
• Resolve work restraints and bring work packages to final closure.
