Job summary

Stirling Brandworks is seeking an experienced WordPress Developer to maintain and expand our WordPress portfolio, build custom themes, and support our helpdesk. You will collaborate with junior developers, account managers, and a creative team to deliver high-quality client solutions.

In this role, you’ll mentor junior staff, contribute to ongoing site updates, and help optimize our support processes. This is a hands-on role in a growing tech-focused agency with a collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 2+ years of software development experience.
• Proven experience with WordPress.
• Strong understanding of software development principles.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Outstanding communication and client-service skills, with experience in a client-facing role.
• Ability to lead and mentor junior team members, teaching best practices and ensuring consistent client experiences.
• Familiarity with help desk operations and ticketing systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support our WordPress sites and legacy PHP applications.
• Build custom WordPress themes from Figma designs.
• Support the help desk operations and improve the support program.
• Serve as the technical point of contact for clients and manage releases.
• Mentor junior staff and ensure a consistent client experience.
• Assist with small website updates and design refreshes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve tickets promptly.
• Maintain a well-documented client support database.
• Ensure high client satisfaction through clear communication.
