Purpose:

Bayer is expanding its efforts to advance its mission "Health for All, Hunger for None." The Women's Health Specialist (WHS) will manage the Intrauterine Devices (IUDs) business portfolio and drive the launch of a new therapy in the retail space. Responsibilities include driving demand, providing clinical education, and achieving sales objectives by developing and executing strategic plans for key customers across various settings. The WHS will report to the WHC Area General Manager and collaborate closely with internal teams to meet US Pharma outcomes. The territory covers Little Rock, Hot Springs, Conway, Jonesboro, Searcy, Batesville AR, Shreveport, Bossier City, Monroe LA, and Texarkana TX, and the candidate must reside within this territory.

Your Tasks And Responsibilities
  • Drive clinical demand, education, and sales by understanding disease states, unmet needs, and treatment options; educate healthcare professionals on the benefits of Women’s Health products, balancing efficacy and safety with clinical information.
  • Demonstrate expertise in disease states, market dynamics, competitors, and industry trends; possess analytical skills to identify opportunities and challenges.
  • Prioritize sales and educational activities in high ROI accounts to maximize growth.
  • Partner with the Area Business Development Lead to monitor contract performance and conduct quarterly business reviews with top accounts; support initiatives to accelerate demand and contract performance.
  • Expand market share within established accounts.
  • Identify and address account needs with compelling messaging and solutions.
  • Communicate effectively and work collaboratively within the squad.
  • Manage territory budget responsibly, including education, displays, conferences, and resources.
  • Develop and execute a strategic territory sales plan using data reporting tools to meet sales and revenue goals.
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to implement sales strategies.
  • Document activities in Veeva Irep.
  • Maintain proficiency in clinical data, pricing, and customer access channels.
  • Partner with physicians and centers to develop referral networks.
  • Understand the competitive landscape, including claims data within the territory.
  • Complete all required training and adhere to compliance guidelines.

Required Qualifications:
  • BA/BS degree
  • At least five years of sales experience in medical device and pharmaceutical sectors
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience in contract negotiations and relationship management
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Solutions-oriented with the ability to influence without authority
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean record
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in OB/GYN specialty
  • Knowledge of healthcare management, compliance, payer landscape, and market dynamics
  • Strong analytical skills for financial modeling

Salary range: $131,000 - $197,000 plus potential bonuses, benefits include health, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, and sick leave. Compensation varies based on location, experience, and other factors. Application deadline: at least 5/28/25.
