Job summary

Subaru of America in Camden, NJ is seeking an experienced WMS/WMOS specialist to oversee design, configuration, and support of WMOS within a hybrid work setup. You will author requirements, design specs, and drive system solutions in collaboration with warehouse operations.

The role requires 8–10 years in WMS or supply chain systems, strong techno-functional abilities, and leadership skills to guide junior programmers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 8–10 years of experience with WMS or supply chain systems.
• Techno-functional experience bridging business and IT.
• Ability to lead junior programmers and manage projects.
• Strong problem-solving and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design, configuration, and support of Manhattan WMOS.
• Author Business requirements, Functional Design & Technical Specifications.
• Translate business needs into system solutions with warehouse operations.
• Develop and support integrations between WMS, ERP, TMS, and related systems.
• Create, modify, and troubleshoot reports to meet business needs.
• Troubleshoot production issues and drive cross-team resolutions.
• Support upgrades, implementations, and SIT/UAT testing.
• Collaborate with vendors and cross-functional teams.
• Provide knowledge transfer and mentorship to staff.
• Ensure alignment between system capabilities and business processes.
• Coordinate tasks with project managers, programmers, and leads.
• Review software development processes for improvements.
• Provide 24x7 systems support on a rotational basis.
