Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Sr. IT Lead to champion the migration to Manhattan Active Warehouse Management for a multi-site rollout.

This remote role will act as a Manhattan Active WM SME, defining the solution, standards, and rollout approach while coordinating with operations, IT, vendors, and external system owners. The ideal candidate brings 10+ years in Manhattan Active WM, strong warehouse domain knowledge, and experience leading cross-functional teams through complex migrations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on experience implementing Manhattan Active WM.
• Experience serving as a lead SME/solution owner on at least one Manhattan Active WM implementation.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations (receiving, inventory, replenishment, picking, packing, shipping, returns).
• Experience migrating from legacy WMS environments and integrating TMS/WES/WCS and automation.
• Experience with multi-site implementation planning, phased rollouts, pilot deployments, site-specific configuration, testing, cutover, and post-go-live stabilization.

Responsibilities

• Lead Manhattan Active WM solution design and implementation activities for a phased, multi-location warehouse rollout.
• Support migration from legacy WMS, TMS, WES/WCS, and warehouse execution components to Manhattan-provided capabilities.
• Define future-state warehouse processes for receiving, inventory, replenishment, picking, packing, shipping, returns, exceptions, and operational support.
• Assess current workflows and bottlenecks to eliminate inefficiencies and non-value-added activities.
• Design and validate inbound order integration from a separate Manhattan Omni instance.
• Partner with internal teams and vendors to validate warehouse technology (RF devices, scanners, printers, workstations, conveyors, pick-to-light, WCS/WES interfaces).
• Establish internal Manhattan Active WM standards, configuration governance, release management, testing approach, site rollout templates, and escalation paths.
• Support testing, training, cutover planning, go-live execution, issue triage, stabilization, and knowledge transfer.
