Job summary

TCWGlobal is seeking a Senior Wireless Systems Test Engineer (Contract) to lead validation, testing, and optimization of next-gen wireless products. You will perform lab and real-world wireless system tests, ensuring high-quality connectivity across multiple technologies.

Ideal candidates bring a strong background in wireless communications, network protocols, and RF testing, and will collaborate with hardware, firmware, software, and chipset teams to deliver robust consumer wireless solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years in wireless systems testing or RF engineering.
• Strong understanding of wireless communications and networking protocols.

Responsibilities

• Execute wireless system testing in lab and real-world deployments.
• Validate performance, reliability, and interoperability across wireless techs.
• Capture, analyze, and troubleshoot traffic with Wireshark and Iperf.
• Perform power consumption analysis using Keysight instruments.
• Create detailed test plans, procedures, and validation reports.
• Log and manage defects using Jira, Confluence.
• Collaborate with firmware, software, hardware, and chipset teams.
• Develop and improve wireless test systems and fixtures.
• Analyze results, identify root causes, and recommend actions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of validation methodologies.
