Job summary

Elevate Digital in the United States seeks a Senior Wireless Network Engineer IV to lead enterprise wireless design, standards, and engineering oversight. You will review partner designs, optimize RF performance, and guide implementations across projects and incident responses.

The role requires 8+ years in enterprise networking with wireless specialization; hands-on Aruba and Cisco expertise; strong automation and leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience.
• 8+ years of enterprise network engineering experience with wireless focus.
• Advanced knowledge of wireless technologies, RF fundamentals, coverage planning, roaming, interference, security, troubleshooting.
• Experience reviewing and approving large-scale wireless designs (partner solutions).
• Hands-on experience with Aruba technologies and Aruba Central.
• Experience with Cisco Catalyst Center and Cisco networking.
• Strong understanding of routing, switching, VLANs, network security.
• Experience with automation or scripting for network workflows.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills; ability to lead complex problems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain enterprise wireless engineering standards and design criteria.
• Review and approve wireless designs from internal teams and partners.
• Evaluate designs for RF coverage, capacity, roaming, interference, security, scalability.
• Approve site surveys, predictive designs, heat maps, AP placement, capacity models.
• Provide technical direction to partners and internal stakeholders.
• Serve as the internal SME for wireless engineering and standards.
• Govern governance and evaluate exceptions to standards.
• Engineer and support wireless management, monitoring, and troubleshooting using Aruba Central.
• Use Cisco Catalyst Center for visibility, automation, analytics, troubleshooting.
• Lead capacity planning, RF optimization, lifecycle planning, resiliency testing.
• Develop automation for configuration deployment and validation.
• Support network security practices including zero-trust and segmentation.
• Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for incidents.
• Coordinate with NOC, Security, Infrastructure, vendors during major incidents.
• Evaluate new wireless technologies for enterprise adoption.
• Support broader network initiatives involving LAN/WAN and routing.
• Mentor engineers and develop skills.
• Develop and maintain engineering standards, docs, runbooks.
• May be called upon during urgent IT incidents.
