Job summary

CACI International Inc seeks a Senior Wireless Network Engineer to support an Air Force modernization program. You will design wireless architectures, assess security posture, and ensure high-availability for base networks, both unclassified and classified.

Qualifications

• Clearance: Must currently hold U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance.
• Education: University Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience and 7+ years of related work experience; or HS/associate with 10+ years in DoD.
• Expertise: In-depth knowledge of wireless networking technologies, protocols, and standards (Wi‑Fi 6, WPA3).
• Experience: Experience with wireless network design tools and software.

Responsibilities

• Network Design & Engineering: Create network architectures, topology diagrams, and data flow artifacts (Visio) for wireless solutions with high availability.
• Project Leadership & Strategy: Support site surveys and engineering in modernized network design per Air Force standards and security protocols.
• Cybersecurity Compliance: Design, implement, and document secure network architectures per DAF and DoD RMF standards.
• Implementation: Oversee installation of wireless network equipment including access points and controllers.
• Operational Transition & Maintenance: Troubleshoot, resolve issues, provide Tier 3 support to O&M teams.
• Quality & Safety Assurance: Ensure installations meet safety standards and restore sites to original or better condition.
