Job summary

Copeland is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to lead wireless architecture and enterprise IT networking initiatives. You will mentor operations, design global Wi-Fi solutions, and partner with Security and Cloud teams to ensure robust network services. Strong Cisco expertise and a track record of large-scale deployments are essential for success.

The role offers remote work with occasional on-site collaboration in St. Louis, with a flexible schedule to support global operations.

Qualifications

• Fifteen or more years hands-on routing and switching.
• 10+ years WAN/LAN/Wireless design, implementation and operation with Cisco hardware.
• Deep knowledge of Cisco Wireless networking solutions.
• Advanced experience with global wireless networks and remote access tools.
• VLANs, spanning tree, BGP, EIGRP, OSPF fundamentals.
• SD-WAN understanding and related technologies.
• Ability to read complex network maps/drawings (Visio).
• DNS/DHCP and related services knowledge.
• IP addressing, subnetting and supernetting mastery.
• On-call maintenance outside normal hours.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/MIS or related field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Plans, designs, and implements network infrastructure with a wireless focus.
• Provides Level IV technical leadership and mentoring to operations.
• Researches and evaluates new network/communication tech.
• Serves as SME for Enterprise IT communications with Security/Cloud groups.
• Supports WAN/LAN and wireless deployments across global environments.
• Automates repetitive tasks with scripts and tools.
• Evaluates hardware, firmware, and software; develops installation procedures.
• Maintains vendor relationships and coordinates training.
• Monitors performance and conducts root cause analyses.
• Supports customers and staff during new WAN or datacenter installs.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in CS or MIS or related technology/engineering discipline

CCNP Enterprise Professional
