ABOUT THE JOB

We are seeking Wireless Embedded Software Engineers to join our team. This role focuses on software design, implementation, and automation testing for embedded and systems software. Our product involves networked embedded systems providing compute resources, wireless communication, and wired networking on custom hardware. Candidates should have experience or academic background in wireless communication, networking, computer architecture, and hardware devices, with strong skills in Real-time Operating Systems, C/C++, and Python.

ABOUT YOU

Required:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
• 3+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in C, C++, and Python.
• Strong understanding of real-time operating systems, computer architecture, networking, and wireless communication systems.
• Experience building platforms for system software.
• Expertise with PHY or MAC Layer software in wireless ecosystems.
• Experience working on both hard real-time and Linux platforms.
• Deep understanding of inter-process communications, memory management, and low-level routines.
• Ability to contribute to product planning.
• Ability to collaborate across engineering disciplines through all phases of development.

Additional Skills:

• Experience with at least one wireless technology such as RFID, WiFi, LTE, or BLE.
• Experience in RF frontend configuration and control.
• Familiarity with Boost.ASIO.
• Experience with Yocto for system building.
• Hands-on experience with wireless controllers or gateways.

Salary range for this position is USD $100,000 - $200,000, depending on location, skills, and experience. Benefits include equity, medical/dental coverage, life insurance, 401k, flexible time off, and parental leave.
