Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an IT Windows Systems Engineer to support and build Microsoft enterprise platforms across the SpaceX IT landscape. The role emphasizes Windows OS engineering, AD/Kerberos, PKI, and automation to deliver scalable, secure infrastructure for demanding engineering teams.

Ideal candidates will have strong PowerShell skills, experience with AD CS/AD FS, and a proven ability to design high-availability systems with robust monitoring and security controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a STEM discipline and 3+ years of systems engineering experience; OR 5+ years in lieu of a degree.
• Experience with Windows operating system engineering and architecture.

Responsibilities

• Work with SpaceX engineers to gather requirements and deploy Microsoft enterprise software platforms.
• Build highly resilient, high-performance, scalable, and flexible systems.
• Make recommendations and implement improvements using change control processes.
• Collaborate with internal units to design and deliver solutions and resolve issues promptly.
• Drive designs in architecture, security, and scripting/automation across environments.
