Job summary

StratasCorp in Pensacola, FL is seeking a Senior Windows Systems Administrator to lead Windows Server and Exchange administration for DoD-related environments. The role emphasizes security compliance (STIGs), RMF, and disaster recovery planning, with oversight of complex IT projects and documentation.

The ideal candidate has DoD 8570.01-M IAT II certification, 5+ years of Windows administration, plus strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of progressive IT experience with significant Windows administration.
• Two (2) years of supervisory experience overseeing complex IT projects.
• DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification or equivalent.
• CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification.
• Experience administering and maintaining Microsoft Windows Server environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide Windows OS and Exchange administration and support for fleets and NOC.
• Administer MSC Exchange Server infrastructure to ensure reliable email services.
• Monitor Exchange performance and troubleshoot service interruptions.
• Manage Windows Server environments, patches, upgrades, and hardening.
• Develop, submit, and coordinate Change Requests (CRQs) for changes and deployments.
• Coordinate with NMOs, IA and RMF teams for review and approvals.
• Maintain SOPs, documentation, and security practices; support system accreditations.
