Job summary

Calance is seeking a Senior Windows Architect / SME to lead modernization of Windows infrastructure, automation initiatives, and Infrastructure-as-Code programs. You will design, implement, and optimize enterprise-scale solutions across on-premises and cloud environments.

The ideal candidate combines deep Windows and PowerShell expertise with hands-on automation, IaC, VMware, and enterprise architecture experience, and excels in workshops with senior stakeholders and clear client-facing

Qualifications

• Strong PowerShell and Python development for infrastructure automation.
• Experience with Ansible, Terraform, Harness, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Deep knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy and security baselining.
• Experience automating deployments using VMware vSphere 8/9.

Job description

We are seeking a Senior Windows Architect / SME to lead Windows infrastructure modernization, automation, and Infrastructure-as-Code initiatives.

Key Requirements:

• Strong PowerShell and Python development for infrastructure automation.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible, Terraform, Harness, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, SCCM/MECM, security hardening, and CIS baselines.
• Experience automating deployments using VMware vSphere 8/9.
• Proven ability to modernize legacy scripts, automation frameworks, and deployment pipelines.
• Strong architecture, troubleshooting, documentation, and client-facing communication skills.
• Experience leading technical workshops and architecture discussions with senior stakeholders.
• Linux and cloud/hybrid infrastructure experience is a plus.
