Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Server Administrator who takes a holistic approach to infrastructure management and system reliability. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise across on-premises and cloud environments, strong problem-solving abilities, and the foresight to design scalable, secure, and efficient server solutions.

Responsibilities

• Manage, maintain, and optimize server infrastructure across on-premise and cloud environments (Microsoft Azure, Hyper-V, VMware).
• Implement and automate administration tasks using PowerShell and other scripting tools.
• Monitor system performance, capacity, and availability; proactively resolve potential issues before they impact operations.
• Design and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless application performance, security compliance, and infrastructure scalability.
• Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and related core services.
• Maintain and update documentation, including build guides, architecture diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
• Lead or assist in system upgrades, patch management, and migration initiatives (on-premise to cloud or hybrid).
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior administrators and support team members.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Windows Server administration and infrastructure operations.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Azure, PowerShell scripting, Hyper-V virtualization, and VM management.
• Working knowledge of networking concepts (firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, routing).
• Experience managing hybrid or cloud-first infrastructures.
• Familiarity with monitoring and automation tools (Azure Monitor, System Center, Intune, or similar).
• Proven track record of driving process improvement, automation, and system reliability.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, MCSA/MCSE) preferred.
