Job summary

CDW is seeking a highly experienced Senior Windows Engineer to lead the modernization of our enterprise endpoint environment. The role focuses on Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopatch, Entra hybrid joined devices, and cloud-native endpoint strategies to improve security, automation, and deployment consistency.

Qualifications

• 7+ years designing and engineering modern Windows end-user computing environments.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune and cloud-native endpoint management.
• Experience modernizing enterprise Windows environments and guiding transformations.
• Ability to mentor engineers locally and remotely.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills for prioritizing initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and modernize the Windows endpoint environment with Intune at the core.
• Drive migration from legacy models to cloud-native Entra ID Join and Autopilot.
• Design, implement, and optimize Windows Autopatch for update compliance and security.
• Develop and mature third-party patching and vulnerability remediation.
• Maintain Intune config profiles, compliance policies, and endpoint management standards.
• Collaborate with security, infrastructure, architecture, and applications teams.
• Automate repetitive tasks using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and provide senior-level escalation support.
• Define engineering standards, roadmaps, and documentation for modernization.
• Evaluate emerging Microsoft capabilities and advise on standardized solutions.
• Lead or participate in major incidents and RCA actions.
• Develop advanced endpoint metrics reporting and trend analysis.
