Job summary
Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced Windchill Integration Developer to design, build, and operate integrations connecting PTC Windchill with ERP, MES, CAD, and other enterprise systems. The role centers on owning the integration layer and applying enterprise patterns across middleware platforms.
The ideal candidate will have deep Windchill integration experience, familiarity with Info*Engine, REST/SOAP services, and a track record of delivering scalable, production-ready
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Five or more years of PLM integration experience with a strong focus on Windchill.
- Hands‑on experience with Info*Engine and Windchill Java API.
- Experience designing PLM‑to‑ERP integrations (SAP, Oracle).
- Working knowledge of CAD integration patterns.
- Experience with middleware platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi, OIC, or SAP CPI.
- Strong SQL skills and familiarity with Windchill data model.
- Experience with REST and SOAP web services.
- Excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop integrations between Windchill and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle EBS, Oracle Cloud) using Info*Engine, web services, and middleware platforms.
- Build CAD integrations for Creo, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Catia, and NX with Windchill, including check‑in/check‑out workflows and metadata mapping.
- Develop integrations between Windchill and MES, MOM, and quality systems.
- Build REST and SOAP services for Windchill data using OData, Info*Engine, or custom Java services.
- Implement message-based and event‑driven integrations using middleware (MuleSoft, Boomi, OIC, SAP CPI).
- Design and operate robust error‑handling, alerting, and resubmission patterns, ensuring durable, well‑documented outcomes.
- Profile and optimize performance of high‑volume integrations with measurable gains.
- Lead migration efforts to retire legacy point‑to‑point integrations.
- Collaborate with PLM, ERP, and CAD teams to align integrations with business processes.
- Develop integration documentation, message specifications, and runbooks.
- Provide hands‑on post‑go‑live support and drive durable fixes.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote knowledge sharing.
- Evaluate emerging integration tools and patterns and recommend adoption.
