Job summary

Colorado Parks and Wildlife in the NE Terrestrial Section seeks a wildlife game biologist to formulate recommendations and management options for wildlife species and habitats through data collection and analysis, and to design and evaluate population inventories.

You will develop and implement wildlife and habitat management plans, collaborate with other CPW units and landowners, and educate the public about wildlife conservation and habitat stewardship.

Qualifications

• Six (6) years of relevant wildlife experience or equivalent education/experience.
• Experience analyzing wildlife data and preparing reports.

Responsibilities

• Formulates wildlife management recommendations for CPW staff and partners.
• Develops wildlife and habitat inventories to guide management decisions.
• Minimizes impacts on wildlife and habitats through review of plans and statements.
• Conducts wildlife and habitat management studies and delivers results.
