Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a fire risk-related field
• 10+ years leading wildfire preparedness and risk mitigation projects
• Experience in wildfire/fire behavior modeling and GIS analysis
• Leadership experience with cross-functional teams and mentoring
• Strong project management and client relationship skills

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee wildfire risk mitigation projects with timelines, budgets and deliverables
• Develop and grow the wildfire risk mitigation service line
• Mentor and provide senior leadership to junior staff
• Oversee technical reviews of building/wildfire codes and planning
• Conduct and supervise wildfire behavior modeling and risk analyses
• Develop comprehensive mitigation strategies and regulatory understanding
• Prepare GIS mapping and geospatial visualization products
• Support post-fire evaluations and forensic investigations
• Coordinate environmental assessments and reporting
• Deliver technical presentations and outreach to clients
