Are you a seasoned expert in wildfire risk and insurance compliance, ready to make a lasting impact on California’s wildfire-prone communities? Berquist Recovery Consulting, LLC (BRC) is seeking a SENIOR WILDFIRE RISK & INSURANCE COMPLIANCE CONSULTANT to join our mission-driven team. What You’ll Do:

• Lead technical analyses to model wildfire insurance deductibles and FEMA eligibility.
• Develop audit-proof claim packets and resilience funding strategies (parametric insurance, reserves).
• Drive CoreLogic exposure modeling and deliver compelling briefings to executive stakeholders.
• Advise clients on compliance and recovery strategies.

Who We’re Looking For:

• 8+ years in property insurance, wildfire recovery, or FEMA Public Assistance.
• ARM, CPCU, or equivalent certifications (preferred).
• Proficiency in risk-modeling tools (CoreLogic, Moody’s RMS, Cal-Adapt).
• Strong communicators who can simplify complex topics for diverse audiences.
• Bonus: Experience with California JPAs, school districts, or municipal agencies.
