Jobot in San Diego seeks a driven Senior Litigation Attorney to join our Wildfire Litigation team, focusing on civil litigation involving human-caused fires. The ideal candidate will bring strong trial skills, extensive deposition and motion practice, and a commitment to serving impacted communities.

Qualifications

• JD from ABA-accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar.
• 7+ years civil litigation experience (wildfire/mass tort/environmental a plus).
• Strong litigation skills including deposition and motion practice.

Responsibilities

• Handle all phases of complex civil litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, depositions, and trial preparation.
• Assist in developing legal strategies for wildfire and other complex litigation matters.
• Conduct legal research and draft briefs, motions, and memoranda.
• Operate independently in trials, hearings, and settlements.
• Collaborate with team members to develop and execute strategy and maintain client communications.
• Maintain timely updates with clients on case developments.
