Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Sr. Wi‑Fi Software Engineer to lead the Wi‑Fi software roadmap and drive kernel‑level performance improvements.

You will collaborate with RF/EE engineers to refine testing, mentor peers, and push the Wi‑Fi mesh to new levels of reliability. The role requires deep experience with C/C++, embedded networking, and Linux, with a strong focus on scalable CI/CD tooling and deployment processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, math, or STEM with 5+ years of software development, or 7+ years in lieu of degree.
• 3+ years development experience in C or C++.
• Experience with IEEE 802.11 wireless standard and networking protocols (UDP, TCP/IP).
• Experience working on embedded software for networking equipment.

Responsibilities

• Drive the Wi‑Fi software and product roadmap.
• Debug and optimize kernel‑level system performance.
• Collaborate with RF and EE engineers to improve testing procedures.
• Mentor software engineers and build a strong team culture.
• Improve Wi‑Fi mesh performance.
• Invent tools enabling frequent, reliable software deployment and data analysis within CI/CD.
