The ideal candidate has 3+ years in accounting, strong analytical and communication skills, and a process-improvement mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Accounting or related field.
• Experience preferred in the Energy industry, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze settlement data for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities.
• Lead wholesale activities such as end-to-end settlement lifecycle, including data validation, dispute resolution, invoice generation, and revenue/cost recognition across various transaction types.
• Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives, contributing settlement insights to support business strategies and regulatory compliance.
• Assist in preparing and reviewing reports, ensuring clarity, completeness, and adherence to guidelines.
• Provides mentorship and guidance to junior team members, contributing to knowledge sharing and skill development.
