Froehling & Robertson, Inc. seeks a highly motivated Wetland Scientist for its Raleigh, NC or Richmond, VA office. You will work independently on natural resources projects within an interdisciplinary team of environmental professionals.

Responsibilities include completing wetland delineations, preparing reports and permits, overseeing staff, and managing client relationships while applying knowledge of NC/SC/VA regulations. This role has potential to advance within the NR practice.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of related experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in related field required.
• Professional Wetland Scientist Certification preferred.
• Experience with wetland and stream delineations and regulatory permitting.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse portfolio of Natural Resources projects.
• Interact with clients confidently and develop relationships.
• Perform wetland delineations and stream determinations.
• Write and review technical reports and proposals for NR services.
• Complete Section 404/401 permitting for projects.
• Coordinate projects and oversee support staff.
• Provide technical guidance on wetlands regulations in NC/SC/VA.
• Perform field assessments in various environments.
• Analyze data, create GIS maps, and collaborate with team members.
• Lead NR projects and participate in business development activities.
• Attend industry events and support leadership.
