Terracon is seeking a Project Wetland Scientist/Ecologist to join our Environmental Planning Team in Boise, ID or Salt Lake City, UT. The role focuses on wetland delineations, habitat assessments, and regulatory support for Waters of the U.S. projects.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in wetland science and strong familiarity with regulatory frameworks. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver compliant, high-quality environmental solutions.

Competenze

Bachelor's and/or master's degree in Botany, Biology, Ecology, Environmental Science, Soil Science, Hydrology or related field.
At least 7 years of wetland science, biology and habitats experience.
Proficiency in delineating Waters of the U.S., including streams and wetlands.
Familiarity with Federal/State regulatory processes and permitting.
Experience with GIS and Microsoft Office software is desirable.

Mansioni

Conduct wetland delineations and habitats assessments for projects.
Provide permitting support related to Waters of the U.S. and ESA compliance.
Prepare technical reports, proposals, and supporting regulatory documents.
Lead field surveys, oversee staff, and report results to project team.
Collaborate with Utah/Idaho offices and Rocky Mountain Division to grow Environmental Planning services.
