Job summary

Eocene Environmental Group, Inc. is seeking a Senior Aquatic Resources Specialist to deliver wetlands services, including delineations, restorations, permitting, reporting, design, and mitigation projects.

The role leads wetland delineations per USACE manuals, coordinates with regulatory agencies, conducts fieldwork, and prepares clear technical reports while ensuring health and safety and compliance with laws.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Ecology, or related field required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and high organization.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and GIS tools for data handling and reporting.
• Experience with wetland delineation and regulatory processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead wetland delineations per USACE Wetland Delineation Manual and Regional Supplements.
• Conduct wetland monitoring, regulatory coordination, and permitting activities.
• Identify OHWM for Waters of the U.S. per USACE guidance.
• Perform fieldwork, data collection, and organize field data; prepare technical reports.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and project requirements.
• Travel as needed based on project requirements and location.
