Job summary

Keystone Distinction Group is seeking a Senior Estimator for wet utilities and pipeline construction in Corona, CA. You will lead cost estimating for complex pipeline projects, coordinating with project teams and clients to ensure accurate, competitive bids.

The role requires advanced knowledge of civil drawings, soils, and cost data, with extensive experience in takeoffs and bid development. You will mentor junior staff and support post-award cost forecasting and change management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in cost estimating or project management for wet pipeline projects.
• Strong understanding of civil drawings, soils reports, and project specs.
• Proficiency with plan takeoffs using Planswift, OST, Bluebeam, or similar software.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Project).
• Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring abilities.
• Experience developing competitive bids, GMPs, and lump-sum estimates.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for wet pipeline projects, including labor, materials, equipment, subs, and indirect costs.
• Attend client pre-bid meetings and site visits; document all relevant RFQ data.
• Review drawings and specs to determine accurate scopes of work.
• Develop and communicate estimate assumptions, resource needs, and cost breakdowns.
• Lead bid reviews to align with company objectives and client expectations.
• Mentor junior estimators and administrative staff.
