Job summary

Live 2 B Healthy of St. Croix is seeking experienced Senior Wellness trainers to deliver engaging group fitness classes for older adults in senior living communities in Davis County.

Trainers will provide private one-on-one and small group sessions, ensuring safety, progress, and high-quality programming. The role requires current senior fitness experience, a nationally recognized certification, and CPR/AED.

Qualifications

• Current experience in senior fitness, personal training, group fitness, or rehab-based exercise.
• Current nationally recognized fitness certification (NASM, ACE, ACSM, AFAA, or equivalent).
• Current CPR/AED certification (required).
• Strong interpersonal skills and an encouraging, client-centered approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead group fitness classes for older adults, on-site, focusing on functional movement, balance and strength.
• Deliver private one-on-one and small group sessions based on individual goals and abilities.
• Monitor safety and inclusivity; modify activities to support all fitness levels.
• Build rapport with residents, staff, and community decision-makers.
• Follow Live 2 B Healthy protocols and curriculum for all training formats.
• Accurately report attendance, session feedback, and client notes to the Fitness Program Manager.
